Merimbula Magic Mountain

Merimbula is a small settlement in the South East tip of Australia and is home to Magic Mountain, a wooded theme park with one roller coaster.

The park have made heavy use of the Photoshop liquify tool in their marketing, and whilst initially trippy it sort of works and is unique.

The coaster is a large pinfair coaster and it was running pretty good. You never know with these remote parks who well the rides are being maintained, but they're being looked after very well here indeed!
The other notable ride is a Weigand toboggan ride that starts with descent and ends with the ascent, back to front than most. There are actually quite a few of these rides in Australia for those that are into them.

The rest of the park was actually pretty cute, clearly for the little kids but well presented all the same. There were a few other punters in the park and they seemed to be enjoying themselves here.

You might be able to eat me whole but I can touch my toes!

Another of the trams that we'd seen previously at Melbourne. Looks like they'd been recommissioned having been sold off. They look good!

Smallest water park ever!

Merimbula is surprisingly nice with very friendly staff, especially the woman who worked in the shop and kitchens who opened up early for us and cooked us breakfast :)
